PPWR: Ambitious Waste Reduction Targets

The European Union expects Member States to achieve progressively greater reductions in packaging waste: at least 5% by 2030, 10% by 2035, and 15% by 2040 compared to 2018 levels. These measures are expected to reduce the projected volume of packaging waste by approximately 37% by 2040.
