Diversifying Hungary’s energy supply has been a strategic priority for years. While the rapid expansion of solar energy has delivered significant progress, it has also highlighted that increasing generation capacity alone is not enough. Grid development, greater energy storage capacity, improved alignment of production and consumption, and the renewed growth of wind energy are all necessary to create a more flexible and resilient energy system.
